I was just driving by an old Mobil gas station in Bushwick the other day.
It was closed & fenced off.
I imagined the community closed it with persuasive action,
and declarations proud about never needing to shovel soot in the summer again.
and I think about how they did it for more then themselves.

This weekend, upstate, I hope to be off making a few hundred gallons of my less rude.
