SOCIALIST FAIL OUT

I was speaking with a friend the other day
and she mentioned, as we spoke
about being dead broke,
like bills and dept pile'n up
and
being in collections
and talking with friends
who are close to this
or worse like working all day just to be in the same boat
and on doing better
but things just are not feeling good
or looking better
and those i thought who just might be shamrocked
are counting their lucky fucking stars
green clovers and purpled horse shoes,
not nike airs

and going to church more
or just praying or just saying
that they have so much to be thankful for and...

what we where speaking of,
my friend and i...

all about this bail out plan,
two to three months after
and
the plan that has not worked,
or yet that we can see,
and folks that have had faith
may have said so
in order to take the country on a ride
by way of the Ponzi slide...

well this bail out or rescue package
the one that went to the banks
the same banks
that are now reluctant to share
their lost credit that was their future equity
that now have it back
anyway all that
seven hundred and fifty billion dollars
our government gave to the financial institutions,
they did say it was our money again...
well it went off to the ether o
f constant cnn conversation and gallop polls
about certain perspectives of social capitolism
and failed structures and well,
this conversation we had
was what if our government
did something real full of change
and gave us all a check
to the sum of the total amount
given out to these important
and powerful organizations...

well folks i am not sure about after taxes
but that check divides to our american population of 300 million
would look like 250, 000.00 per person,
i think
you got it,
what fucking recession
and what problems would our banks have
if we had some money to give them back,
for the purchase of our houses and cars and small business loans and such,
maybe our conversation about national healthcare
would diminish some
for the radical fact
we would be we may be able to afford a year or two of it
with an all american bail out.
our bail out.
our money.
as long as i have been in this world
i have noticed not all can not afford apple pie.
